I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but i just wanted people's thought on Deep Blue's new UV sterilizers.

They're fully submersible, which i feel is neat because i don't need extra tubing and other nonsense to set it up. You place it in the tank and it works just like a power head push the water through the uv chamber and spitting it out across the tank, which to me sounds good because you filter the water through faster which means less run time to get it all taken care of. But does anyone have any thoughts or concern on what might be a downside on these?

same type of design where the whole unit sits in the water? b/c thats what im looking at, i wanna see if there could be a downside to it being completely submersible compare to the older style being hooked up to the filter.

i have been using the Green killing machine for near a year now in 2 of my tanks and im very happy with how my water looks.
