Just got one today from a reptile show. I read that the lights should be turned off at night because that is when they sleep. So does that mean not to use one of those night bulbs? Thanks
I will post some up later, maybe tomorrow. I just have him in a 25 gal tank with a screen top and some hanging plants and driftwood for the moment. Pretty soon I am going to get a screen cage for him.
from what I hear, you need more airflow than a glass tank. You may want to look into that but I dont know. Post some pics though, I am sure we would all like to see it.
I think as long as your night time temperatures are fine you shouldn't really need the light, although if you wanted to simulate moon light thats fine to. I have future plans to set up my night lights on dimmer switches to actually mimic the changing phases of the moon...not entirely sure how i'm going to accomplish that yet though lol
just throw two or three up on top at a time and 80-90% of the time he gets them before they hit the floor or you can feed him with a tweezer.
and there's a reef tank in the same room so the moon lights are covered
