Plan on setting up my wet/dry along with a friends soon and didnt want to use the hose that came with the wet/dry (Eshopps) because of some of the bad experiences that people had with them. This is the hose that used to come with the Eshopps wet dry.

Even though i have had my wet/dry sitting in my living room for a while i never noticed that the hose that comes with the filter is different.
newer hose (grey)
My question is anyone have bad experiences with the grey hose? My friend has a different wet/dry and his came with the grey hose too. Also is this something the recently changed? I know they sell just the hoses by itself for any wet/drys so if you have any experience with them please let me know. I would hate to use them and have something happen. Thanks in advance.
