Couldn't resist getting a bunch of new polys. Here they are newly transferred to the quarantine tank. Was assured that all their bichirs are wc.
Here's an ornate with dark markings compared to what i normally see in the market.

Found a wc senegal that was a contaminant in another poly shipment. The face looks more snake-like than the normal cb senegal.
All three are currently being treated for parasites as a precaution before being dispersed into other tanks.

Careful for the Ornate and Endli there, as they may outgrow the Sen which will might be a potential snack for them. There are cases that even though they're raised as juvis all at once, when they grew mature they have the tendency to eat that Sen which is quite high because they're WC. Happy Fish Keeping tho, and hoping for the best!

Thanks! Theres an importer/breeder here in the philippines that deals with wc bichirs. They also have teugelsi that i plan to return for.

Yah, i actually had this happen with an albino senegal and an ornate about 10 years ago. The bichirs will be headed for different tanks once quarantine is done.
