Hey all - been meaning to get this project up and running for some time now. As you may know, I do some freelance work in my spare time.... as a result I have generated a large database of images - some of which are of quite unusual specimens.

Due to the shooting situation (often in busy shops) I do not use a flash at all. This means that I have to make trade-offs in shutter speed etc etc.... as a result, some of the images are pretty poor. Saying that I have included them anyway - when I get better shots they will be replaced.

So now that I've explained that bit, please feel free to browse the site. Its still under construction at present (major construction that is... when its complete, I will be making and announcing smaller changes weekly).

Any constructive comments welcome!

cheers! - there's about 200 images on there at the moment. I am expecting that to double before I have completed the bulk of the site. I will then stop adding new pics and start updating mainly. The information side of the site needs lots of work too, but has great potential IMO.

Nice selection of shots there.

Do you have any control over where certain pieces of corals are positioned or the operation of the tank during your sessions? If you are, then I would definitely consider turning the pumps off.

Also, have you ever thought about running the pictures through a noise reduction software? There's quite a bit of noise in these pictures.

Hi - unfortunately quite a few are taken in dealers tanks so turning off flow, using flash etc is all out of the question. Some tanks are very low light too necessitating high ISO.
