I have been considering a stingray for quiet a while (some years, actually) and have bothered you in the past with a few questions...(thanks again for the help) notably when I asked a few months ago about an unknown dark ray that popped at the LFS and was ID´ed here at MFK as a dark motoro. At the time, I didn´t buy it because I was looking for a black ray (leo or other) and it was a bit expensive not to be one

Now, instead of getting a black ray, I just got this light based male motoro.:screwy:

The price was adequate (which isn´t easy in a tiny ray market like Portugal) and I really really liked it. It´s a baby with a 4-5" disk.
Furthermore he is eating nicely and even at the LFS and only 1 week after arrival he was already chewing and eating sinking pellets (which I find strange for an imported ray, hence the ? in the topic)

So, here it is.

It´s as horrendus cell pic taken in the transport bin but you get the idea.
Although the pic is dark the ray is light based with a good number of orange/yellow spots.

Hopefully it doesn´s change a lot and I do a good job taking care of it.

Thanks Scott!
Spoke with the LFS owner this afternoon. He mentioned that the info he had (from the importer, I guess) is that the stingray is supposed to be from the Orinoco river.
I´m selling it for the price I bought it...
It may very well be CB (due to the easiness it acepted pellets) which is fine with me

Nice looking Motoro. But did I read correctly that you are now selling it?

Thanks guys

But did I read correctly that you are now selling it?

Not selling the stingray. I used the expression "selling it for the price I bought it" as regards the 2nd information I was given that this was a wild Orinoco river motoro.

Initially I thought it came from an import from Peru (hence the topic) but that was a wrong information corrected subsequently. Unfortunately I cannot edit the 1st post .

No matter what it is - I ´ll never know for sure - I like it.

Thanks Raymann!
Sorry for the noob question, but... marble ? I´ve never seen one so young so cannot ID.
If it is, it´s a bonus
