New with lots of questions.

Wanted to thank MonsterFishKeepers.com for having me. Im going to try and learn how to navigate this site. My tank was empty for 8 years. Was a salt water tank until it crashed, frustration got the best of me.. But now it lives as a fresh water haven. Happy with my fish selection but most of them hide. Want to add two more fish. Arapaima and or a florida gar?
Any suggestions?

Unless you can comfortably swim in your tank the Airapaima is a definite no. And unless you have a 180 I would say no to the Florida Gar as well. But anyways welcome to MFK! Lots of great info here. What's your tank size and stock?

Welcome to the forum, maybe a florida gar can go in there but I'm pretty sure you can't keep an arapaima, they grow massive.

A Florida gar will be fine but you will definitely have to upgrade eventually for that Arow. Pictures and dimensions??
