new wolf fish!

Recently baught from a fellow MFKER is he a mala or a micropelis? Pics don't really show my he has a green tint in his eyes, a blue tint on his head leading all the way to his back. Also, his head is big. Does that indicater a micropelis?

that's a mala, just light colored due to substrate & stress. I could be wrong though.

Not a Malabaricus. Head shape is too rounded and also all Malas have the "herringbone" pattern down the sides.

I think Mala. Intermedius has a much more rounded head. Microlepis has small scales hense the name 'Microlepis' 'Smallscales'.
