Man I need bigger line to fish in the missouri lol, thats crazy they should sell it to a bass pro shop or a cabellas, theres a kid who sold a live 47 lb flathead to a bass pro an hour away from where I live for $20,000

I don't know, not required to be "alive" for them to certify the fish as a world record though. It was still in a water tank during the interview though.

it looked like it may have still been alive in the video but it wasnt far off from dieing. its poor fin got caught on the side of the metal tank and then they just dropped him at the end of the video. poor guy. i know fishing is a sport but im not the type to shoot/stab anything i just wanna look at it. maybe feed it a goldfish every now and again.

What!? That's bananas man, i used to bounty fish for blues and flatheads for pay lakes in Ohio. The most I ever got was $400 for a 78 lb flathead, and $350 for the 80 lb bluecat. Well and maybe some fishing gear.
