check all your connections on the intake and if you have a air stone move
it away from the intake basket.

I just hooked up some new Eheims on my tanks and they all blew bubbles for about 15 minutes and then went away. It is normal really it's just priming it self still. Though one of the Eheim sprung a leak at the return pipe and was leaking all over. So I just put some tiny c clamps on it and it's fine.

just tilt it to the side a couple times it will release the air

Hmmmnn... so the bubbles from my air wand could also cause my canister to blow bubbles.... Let just try moving stuff around.

Unplug it. Wait about 30 secs. or so then realease one of the clips. It will start to fill up so be carefull. When it fills up completely set the clip back in place and plug it back in. That should work. I have two of them on my 120 and that seems to work for me.

this happened to me a few days ago. i tried rocking it and go no thing so i turned it off, lifted the leaver to stop the flow opened the top then put it back on and started it up and all the air go sucked out. idk how it worked but it did.
