My first sucessful surf fishing trip. My buddy was suppose the with me but he never woke up which was fine because I would had to tie and rig all his lines. I Got to the beach at 7:10am and the conditions were beautiful. My first catch was a 14" blue fish caught on a live shrimp. Second catch was a 15-20lbs southern stringray on shrimp, that was a heck of a work out to get on the beach. Then after getting some lessons on how to use a sand rake properly by a fellow surfcaster I caught a whiting and my first pompano on sand fleas.
