I've heard Monster Aquarium inc. is great and cheap in Queens, Flushing.

^Monster Aquarium is great, 100% recommended

Fishtown USA is also in that area, worth a check out usually. Out on the island some of the Pet Warehouses are pretty alright, back in the city in chinatown there are a few big ones as well (I forget the names though)

If your in the nyc area like me jersey is a stones throw away I go to absolutly fish, the fish hut, shark aquarium, jeff rapps is another option too

If you feel like a drive Pets Place II in Nanuet/Spring Valley has some great stuff. They often get rare/hard to get stuff too.

They have good selection of Dats, Blue Arows, gars, GATF and a Leichardit
Not cheap, comparable to other shops over the river
