hello all.only been here for two days now and have surfed the site here and it is mindboggling to me all the information and knowledge that is on this web site.i have been to other forums and looked around and their are many fine ones out their.

it just seems to me that this one is very much different than the others.cant quite put a finger on it yet why its different here.but i can assure you it is very enjoyable for me and im sure for other's

so whatever everyone does here do keep it up:headbang2allwet....
 
Some of the reason for difference is the SIZE of mfk. There are so many people here. Experience comes from every direction. You'll also find most of the time a lot of the people like to poke at each other, so don't take anything personal. All in all, if you enjoy fish keeping and talking fish, you're in the right place! Welcome!
 
well thats very good.some forums.... aquarium or non aquarium get a little upset with posting certain topics and not posting them in a particular forum.allwet.......
 
there is a 'your posts' section...click on quick links on the top menu, and you'll find 'my posts' at the very bottom

I agree that MFK is very different, I was just talking to another member about that earlier this evening. The main reason that I like it so much better than other forums is that the members here are much nicer, and more tolerant to noob questions that we all see 3x a week. Not to mention we have our own rules for keeping fish, for example, our stocking levels would cause flaming on other sites, while we just keep an eye on water params and create monster sized filtration to keep up with it.

I hope you can learn a lot on here, I learn more everyday!
