Okay, So I have looked and tried to find info on this but I can't find a black and white answer to my newbness :)

I have a 125g and I am trying to understand what Fluval 404's will do for me. Do they actually mount in the tank or where-ever I want it? There are 2 locally for sale for 40$ each, I know each one is good for 100g tanks but what if I use both of them?

...I'm starting to lean towards 2 Tiger Oscars for my first fish if that makes a difference, I have been reading they are messy

they will sit beside or under your tank, and the filter media goes inside of them. They are connected to the tank via hoses:)
check out their website and it may give a better explanation.

Oh okay, Thats what I thought but I wasnt sure because of the shape:uhoh: Would 2 404's work for a 125?

What do you think about the 25 gallon Amirale sump? Would that work also?

:grinyes:
I would go for the sump filter, I like wet/drys better.
Either would get the job done though.

I like the idea of the wet/dry better too. So the 25 gallon would work for a 125. Its 30x14x14, I couldnt find it on the amircale website but they did have a 30x14x18 for a 180?

:nilly: I'll be checking with the wife
