I've got a couple of questions but I'll give you a little info first. I currently have a 180g in wall glass reef tank. I've been in the hobby for years now, so I'm not a complete newb, however I am a newb to to plywood tanks.

I would love to build roughly a 600g reef tank. 84x48x36 (something along those lines)...

So here are my questions..

1. I don't see any saltwater reef plywood builds on the site. Is there a reason for that? (other than the cost of reef salt) Is it because of the corrosiveness of the saltwater?

2. I've read about the pond armor, will that work with saltwater?

3. I have a spare 180g glass tank w 5/8 glass...If I make the window 72" and keep 6" on either side of the glass, is my existing glass capable of holding 600g, should I look into acrylic instead? I now some people have steered away from acrylic because it gets scratched easily, but I don't see that being an issue.

Thanks for any help, advice, links you can provide..still trying to navigate my way around this labyrinth of a site.
