So it has been decided by my wife that my new 75 will not be the planted discus community that I had planned on, instead it will be a fish and coral setup. How does this light look:

I hope it will be sufficient.

Anyone wanna do a write up on what I am gonna need before I fill it with water? the tank is not tempered, but I am scared to drill I think. Help please.

Never tried a salty before BTW

First start by deciding on the livestock you wish to keep and the amount of time you want to spend maintaining your reef. Once you have that decided, along with your budget, I would be glad to give you a list of things you need. There are a million ways to setup a reef tank and none of them are anymore correct than the others. Determining inhabitants and the amount of time are the most crucial in deciding on what equiptment you would need.

(i.e. If you have more money than time, there is a vast array of equiptment that can almost totally automate the manual labor aspect of having a reef. On the opposite side of the spectrum a limited budget and a few hours of free time every week can be just as rewarding for pennies on the dollar.)

So figure out where you fit into that and we can go from there....feel free to private message me if you'd like.
