Hi all, just signed up. I'm from the east coast of canada, Nova Scotia to be more specific.
I have stumbled upon this site several times before and thought, what the hey, might as well join.. I'm not sure if my fish deserve "moster" status just yet, but I've seen a few of them on here. I currently keep Oscars and Jack Dempsey cichlids. They are all young adults at around 5-6" each, I also have a 16" sailfin pleco, and a 6" flying fox... Not so much a monster. Anyway Hello to everyone, and I hope I can find a place with you all here at MFK.com ;)

Welcome! Great place to talk and learn about fish and everythin in between!

Thanks, :)

I don't have my camera right now to upload any, as I'm at work but here's a link to a youtube video I posted the other day.

It's a 160 US GAL 2 tiger oscar, 2 albino oscar, flying fox and sailfin. I used to keep africans til
I rescued "Willy" the albino oscar with one good eye and half a tail. then i knew I was HOOKED.

Tank has an overflow system with a 33gal sump, and is sunken into the wall in my cafe. Enjoy this video, comments, suggestions, constructive criticism always welcome :)

oops and i have 2 jack dempsey too lol

Very nice setup!! Love the pleco! With a tank like that, the knowledge you seem to have, and your stock selection, you will fit in very nicely in MFK. No criticism from me, just high 5's for a great setup!

Thanks :) And to think it all started for me a year ago with a 2gal plastic tank for my toddler with 5 serpae tetras!!! I've come a LONG way!!
