Hi every one. I havent owned fish is a long time mostly reptiles.I set up a 10 gallon I had laying around for a while for my kids and started looking on the internet for some good ideas.
Then I found Monster Fish Keepers. Needless to say im hooked, a couple days later I brought home a used 90 gallon.I got it all cleaned up and filled.
Now im playing with different filter ideas and debating what im going to stock it with. I really want carnivorus fish but im open to suggestions
Im thinking Pirahana, oscars or ciclides. I want some active fish so give me some ideas.

well pirahnas are active but can get skittish, im not too sure not really my area of knowledge,
however ususally an oscar is the pick for most people due to having dog like personalities and there large size. also like most cichlids they are omnivores? but do consume live fish. ( feeder fish however is not recommended due to diseases). you can do only one in a 90 however with good filteration, as oscars are messy eaters.

for the part on cichlids be more specific, ca/sa or africans

Hi and Welcome to MFK!!! ^that is normally what happens once people find this place... your fitting right in already... have fun!

I seen some red bellys and africans ciclides at our LFS. The pirahna were hiding I could barley see them, but the africans seemed fiesty and were chaseing each other around. Im pretty good at the search button so ill find something cool.
Im sure once my tank is set up and cycled I will start a thread and show you all some pix.
