Im plannin to setup a SW tank for the first time.with 2 turbo skimmer ,2overhead filter,1biofilter,flow-lux lights and an undergravel..Im plannin to house a boxfish, rockfish, lionfish, and some cleanup crew in a 125 gallon tank...So do you they'd be compatible?

should I use aquarium salt or a true seawater?

what about thier temps?
diet?
how often should I change my water? percentage?

tnxtnxtnx!

100% use a marine salt it doesn't really matter what brand they are all basically the same. You might want to scrap the undergravel filtel as well. The one thing I have found is that there are some very good fish keepers on this site that can usually answer every question one might have.:)

so do you mean that the marine salt available in LFS is better than the true saltwater in th sea?:)

Yes I guess you could use salt from the ocean if you have that as an option but you might pick up some unwanted critters when you do it that way. I use marine salt from the LFS.

depending on what type of boxfish you get they'll work. if you mean a spiny boxfish, the blue one, that's cool. there're kinds that get like 3' long those r bad.
also look out for the stone fish, there's a reason it's the deadliest fish in the sea.
