newbeeee to plecos... y does it keep ****ting?

as mentioned above. bought a green panthom just recently and i always see **** on it although it doesnt eat alot or eat anything at all... y is that? bad sign or normal to plecs?

Ive seen plecs with poop's 2 times longer than the plecs body, just dangling out there brown eye

Plecos ingest more than one might think. After all, what else do they have to do?

they care called algea eaters and waste makers. before they would tell you to buy one because it eats dirt. actually it makes dirt. i had several plecos and i just don't like it when they leave all the mess. to consider it was a bare bottom tank that's why i saw all the things that i didn't when i had gravel. it depends on you if you can live with it. if you have several plecos i would do more water change and have a bigger bioload.
