Newbie for FH

I am considering to buy a small FH, where is a good place to buy around Southern California? What does the baby FH eats, pellet? Can I use the same pellet (Hei Feng Pellet) that I feed my silver aro?

I plan to put the fish by itself in 20 Gallon tank for now. My other tank has Silver aro and 3 Blood Parrot.

Hey bro WELCOME to MFK! I don't live anywhere near your so I don't know where to get one local. I get mine from Aqua Bid. I also haven't heard of the pellet you are talking about but it's probably ok. I would suggest grandsumo or hykari gold for staple pellet. You don't want to feed any of your fish just 1 kind of food. Variety is the best. A 20g tank will be fine for your baby FH for 2 months or so. Maybe less. FH grow big fast so he may need moved quicker. Good luck with your new FH when you get it.

well there's betts fish stores down in socsl then where I live for flowerhorns, work the google n see what kind of fish stores r around you
