Planning to put up a freshwater ray set up on a 75 gal.

Need advice on which variant to go for , water ph in my area is 7.8, will rays thrive ?

Also would like to know if there is any reliable supplier in the east coast area ?

75g is not big enough for rays. Rays being wide fish need a wider footprint. I don't think I would put a ray in any tank that was not 30" wide( just for growing them out not home for life) or wider. Just my two cents.

My plan is start them at teacup size and upgrade to a wider tank(180) when they grow.

What is the going price for motoros, saw one in a lfs selling for $ 125(4") but would prefer to get from a hobbyist/importer.

thanks to all .

$85 - $125 6". One of the sellers here DavidW sells excellent rays. Check him out.

Does he have a website or email address, I am still not a full member have to get my 5 posts in.
