Hey everyone,
I'm Danny, I got my first tank June of last year and just fell in love with fish after I had to put my pitbull down. I just wanted to join some forums to converese with other keepers, increase my knowledge and my ability to care for my fish.
These are my tanks and stock list:
2.5 gal 1 male Betta
10 gal 3 fancy Goldfish
55 gal 1 Oscar (10-11")
125 gal 2 Guapote Amarillo, 3 Common Pleco

Welcome aboard. Im fairly new here as well. I think we are both in the minority here as goldfish keepers lol but maybe we are starting a trend.

Thanks everyone.
It really makes feel good to hear compliments on my setups considering I am pretty new to the aquarium hobby.
Here is a picture of my new 40 gallon, I still need to mount the doors on my stand and I have yet to build the canopy but I wanted to get it up and running to get it cycled. I plan on taking down my 10 gal. and my 2.5 gal. and housing my betta and goldfish together and possibly a school of cory catfish. Has anyone attempted to keep betta and goldfish together before?

Cool, I have that same tree in one of my tanks, minus the parts that popped off and floated to the top. Nice tank!

Sweet!
If you look closely you can see some white stuff in the center of the little plants and between the branches. I used some pure silicone on glued the whole thing together because i fear the very same thing that happened to yours.

I think thats what Im going to do. I used silicone to attach some rocks to the bottom so it looks like its on a little mountain. I'll take pictures tomorrow.
