Hi,

I'm Kel, I'm new (obviously) here and pretty new to fishkeeping as well.

My father has always kept fish and I guess it's rubbed off, he bought me a tank when I was 12 but they all died(partly because I just left them and only fed them, didn't do water changes or anything).

I didn't have fish for years until my last birthday my husband surprised me with a black moor goldfish in a goldfish bowl :eek: I went out the same day and got one of those 17 litre plastic tanks with a filter until I could afford a bigger tank.

Anyway that was it, I was hooked on fish, that was 6 months ago and I got into tropicals in January when my husband bought me a 240L tank(second hand) which had a geophagus brasillies(sp?), a blue gourami & 2 bronze corys. I had to get rid of the geo as she was picking on the others, she went to an employee at the lfs who had a male at home and now he has 250 little one's to rehome LOL.

My collection now consists of;

240L - 2 X Senegalus Bichir(Gomez & Morticia), 1 x Blue Gourami(Bela) 1 x Opaline Gourami (Lugosi), 2 x Gold Gourami (Lon & Chaney), 2 x Bristlenose plecs (Boris & Karloff)

80L - 1 X Black Moor (Kuuga), 1 x Chocolate Oranda (Fudoh), 1 x calico (Ryuki)

50L - 2 Bronze corys (Mickey & Malory) I want to get some more because I know they prefer being in groups of 5+, Blue veiltail Betta (Koroshiya) who will be going into his own tank once it's finished cycling, I rescued him from a tank full of neons at the lfs

21L - Cycling

Well that's me, if anyone would like to know anything more about me just ask :)

welcome..this is my first day here also
