My name is Josh and Im from WV. Just recently got into fish. When I met my gf she already had a 200 gallon tank and a 30 gallon tank. Ive since added another 30 and will be looking for another 100+ or 200+ in the near future to start getting some Monsters.


Anyone else here from The WV?

Lol, looks like you have quite a gal, lol. Usually it's us guys who have to try to get the girl into the hobby. Either that or cut down/drop it all together as the tension builds up between girl and fish. XD Lol. Welcome to MFK, I think we have a few Virginians.

I grew up in Meadow Bridge. Its in Fayette County, between Lewisburg and Beckley.


Yeah she loves the fish. Got me into it. Im hooked. The 200 gallon tank has quite a collection of fish but mostly community fish. Several species or guarami's, a couple bala sharks, irredescent sharks, parrot fish, and quite a bit more.

The 30 gallon in our room just has small fish like all the different colored danio's, neon's, tetra's. Just pretty stuff.

The 30 gallon down stairs was supposed to be my starter tank for my Oscars and Pacu. I have 4 Oscars, 2 Pacu, a small Jack Dempsey, and a small convict cichlid. The Pacu and 2 of the Oscars grew EXTREMELY fast and I think im going to have to get rid of the Pacu unless I get another big tank soon.

We just found out the g/f is pregnant and I want to put a tank in the room that is going to be the babies room and I think its going to be a big tank. :)
