i bought a box of aquarium salt to be on the safe side just incase i need it i will have it. my question is, how do YOU add the salt to your aquarium? and also how do you get it to desolve? i put a little bit in a bowl with water and try to stir it for about 3 min and it seemed to do nothing. so i figured i better ask now before the time comes. also how much do you add at a time?

sorry for all the questions but i wanna no just incase i even have to use it.

yes u need to dissolve it b4 adding to your tank.

the amount to use depends on the situation... we usually go anywhere from 1 to 4 lbs per 100 gallons.

I mix my salt water up 5 gallons at a time. I usualy throw a power head in the bucket and walk away for a little bit then come back and check on it take a sample ect then go about my buisness.
