Feeder Fish

Hey everyone, I've been lurking in the shadows for a while, but i finally decided to post. I am looking for a little advice. I have 2 10 gal glass aquariums. Both of which are empty at the moment. I have kept basic fish in the past, but I'm ready to upgrade to something a little more exciting. My last fish was actually a feeder goldfish that I somehow kept alive for 4 years.

So what I'm really getting around to is that would love for some input on what kind of fish I should raise, how to set up a successful tank, and how to maintain a healthy environment for my fish. At this point I am pretty much open to anything.

I know you usually keep giant, fancy fish around here, but everyone has to start somewhere. :)

Shrimp are great critters if you haven't tried them.
I also like the colorful species of killifish.
Some Tanganyikan shell-dwellers can be kept in a 10g.
And if you are adventurous enough go for a yellow-headed jawfish in a sw aquarium.

OH! And dwarf puffers are also a sweet choice!

First off, get rid of those 10s and get something bigger! :)

I'd love to, but right now money is a little tight. I miss keeping fish, though and I wanted to get back into it. I'm just tired of guppies and boring Petsmart fish. Don't worry though, I've been adamantly searching through craigslist for something new.

get two siamese fighting fish one in each tank would be good entertainment

Celestial Pearl Danios would be a nice addition in a small planted tank?

Shrimp as mentioned would be cool... cherry reds could be a starting point?

Dwarf puffers have a lot of personality and would learn to beg for food....
