where the corruption never ends
I'm 15 yrs old, just started body building and doing 60 push ups and 60 reps of weight lifting every day. 20 seconds pause for every 10 reps of weight lifting and 20 sec pause for every 20 push ups, would that be okay? the barbel weighs 35 pounds.

I'm also planning to gain abs within 1 1/2 years. can someone give me some tips on it as well?

sorry for my grammar, I'm not that used in using english :)

who cares about the 20 second breaks, have as long breaks as you're comfortable with. don't pace yourself so you get worn out badly after 4 sets. pace yourself at a speed you're comfortable with. doing 60 reps full on, will set you up badly, just go at a comfortable speed.

if you want abs defiantly do chin ups, if you have trouble with tensing your stomach while doing them, get someone to lightly punch you there while you're doing it so you don't forget (i.e it will hurt more if it's not tensed)

remember to do different arm excises, like, 60 reps doing bench press will not help your triceps to their full potential.

When my friends and i got into bodybuilding around 3 years ago we use to go onto bodybuilding.com theres a lot of good articles there teaching you all about weight lifting, cardio exercies, diet and nutrition and it also helps you isolate particular muscle groups on different days to get best results..

Don't try to lift too much weight. You might poop yourself. J/K. Like everybody else said, be careful and don't overdo it. A friend of mine tore his bicep from his shoulderblade trying to lift too much. That was 3 years ago and he still doesn't have full mobility in that arm. Good luck and be safe.

it all depends on the way you go. i work out all natural. no shakes, no vitamins...ect. i eat right, i work out to my body's limits...it's all about your body type. i know "MY" body type. mine might be different from yours. do you want Mass or tone what you have?
