Newbie Mistakes.

When I did my first Saltwater tank, I thought it would be a nice decoration to add a 'Starfish' my mom brought back from Key West. Anyways, I didn't know it was an actual living organism that was dried out. About 2 weeks later the star fish turned to moosh, and the entire basement wreaked. Cycled my tank good though Too bad I had bad advice about SW husbandry, so it didnt matter.

When I got my first tank I set it up then that day spent about $30 on tetras and guppies and they died within a week went out and I was confident that these fish were gunna live in fact so confident that I spent another $30 of my dad's money to get fish (We even had to clean the garage for this). This time they lasted a little longer and died. Finally we didnt want to spend that much money so we figured one big fish and we got an oscar for our 29gal. What funny stories.
