Hi guys how are you all doing, i just got a 10 gal fish tank and i wanna turn it into a very nice plated tank. i have 3 tiny oto cats in there right now with alot of plants. Im using plant gravel right now but i dont think i have enough lighting.
Since its a 10 gal my hood only carrys one light strip (life-glo 6500k 15watts)
i really dont think 15 watts is enough so im thinking of getting a compact lighting hood, im not even sure if im saying that right. but i have no clue in what to look for or what would fight my 10 gal. would the compact lighting fit like the hood i have right now for my tank or would it have like legs that mount on to the tank? and how do i know what kinda bulb to get =\ im so confused , can someone please be nice enuff to help me.
i know i want the lighting to look like the lighting i have now 6500k cause it has a nice natural white look to it but i just dont know what to look for and what kinda compact lighting thing im surpose to get.
if anyone can post me a few links of what you think i should get it would be sooo helpful to a newbie in this hobbie. im willing to spend over anything under 100$ around the 50$-80$ price range would be best. thank you all for taking your time to read
