Newbie Needs Some Guidance

First off I just want to say Hi. This is my first post. It looks like a great community and I am excited to learn from everyone else.

I have been keeping freshwater aquariums for about 4-5 years now and I am ready to transition to saltwater.

I am in the research stage right now, gearing up for the tank setup.

I wanted to see if anyone out there could give me some advice for setting up a beginning fish with live rock tank.

I am working with a 55gal glass tank for a starter.

Any advice would be great.

welcome to MFK... you will get plenty of help... just scroll down to bottom of page on the right side to forum jump and click on it for the drop down menu... go to salt,marine etc and anything else you may see interesting... read and look at all the pics and enjoy... nice meeting you and good luck setting up your first salt tank..
