Hi, I am new to fish. I just set up a 90gal tank. The tank has a corner overflow, a wet/dry for up to a 300gl tank. The wet/dry has a protien skimmer in it. my old pump burnt up so i just purchased a new one it is 1300gph. I also have 2 200 watt heaters. The wet/dry also has 3media trays in it, wich I have filled with carbon, and black diamond, and a phos. pad. I didnt know if I needed the air bubbles inside the tank for oxygen. So I ran a line to the tank also. I am using 4 floresant lights for the lighting. I currently have ciclids in the tank. I wanted to set up a salt water tank. But I cant afford to set it up the way I would like- fish, live rock, coral, ect... So its on hold for now. Is this tank set up allright for my ciclids. Also what size water pump do they use for the protien skimmers? I bought the wet/dry filtration set-up on ebay to save money. The pump burnt up on the protien skimmer. I had a pump, but its old and cant be at more then 300gph. Is this large enough for the protien skimmer???
