Hi everyone, i just got into the fish thing and love it. i just bought myself a colony of wc mobas, just wondering how can i tell if the female is holding eggs. ive researched and know but just want some of your inputs on how they look and act once they are holding eggs.

your moba,s are mouth breeders and the w/c tend to take a lot longer to spawn in a aquarium then vs the wild.I,ve know people to have them for years without any results like myself.you might get lucky and see them spawn then you,ll know.otherwise the female should have a pouch under her mouth neck and she will not eat,they carry for 3-4 weeks before hatching.she will stay to a corner and close to the bottom.if you want them to survive,best bet would be to Fletch them from her and put in a different tank.fronts eat anything under three inches(usually)go to www.cyphos.com great info on frontosa
