Hi There all,
Found your site whilst surfing the net and thought it looked a great place to join. Having had community fish for many years I thought I would have a change and go for a larger "Pet Fish"
At my local fish store I was looking at some nice Oscars but kept getting distracted by a small orange fish who was rounding up all of his tankmates up to the back corner of 'his tank' before parading (Do fish parade?) at the front of the tank for all to see. 10 mins later I was leaving with 'Basil' my 4" Red Devil. The nice man in the shop said he would be happy with a tank mate as long as it was bigger and tougher. So he moved in with an 8" Pleccy, who is now on his way to the sicky tank after serious drubbing.
Looks like I have a character on my hands and I am already looking at upsizing my 48" tank as reading posts it seem he will like his space. Will post some pictures when I can. Look forward to learning from and chatting to you all.
All the best Seabiker Bob.
