Newbie to Poly's.......

You guys are probably sick of hearing these same questions,but i just got an Albino Senagol(think that is how it is spelled??)He is about 3 inches and is staying at the top of my tank right now(i just put him in about a half hour ago)i need to know the correct size they can reach,proper tankmates,food,temp etc,i want to ensure that i keep this fish happy.Thanks!!!

perfectly normal for juvenile polys to float, or chill on top of filter tubes or plant leaves. They reach 12-14", can live with anything they can't swallow and for some reason rarely encur the wrath of normally aggressive fish, like meaty diets (shrimp, massivore pellets, bloodworms, blackworms, beefheart, fish fillets), and would enjoy warmer water (78-84F) although as low as 73-74F won't really bother them. They are easy to care for, and fun to watch. Good luck!

Pretty quick, the two I have in my growout have almost doubled size since september... ones growing quicker and getting wider than the other, but that isn't anything unusual.
