Greetings, i'm am now resigned to raising my son's lungfish he left here 18 inches ago. I am preparing to move him to a much needed larger tank and will have many questions along the way. Thanks in advance for advice.
Lungfish are super super easy to care for. They survive in low oxygen muddy environments naturally, so they don't require much tank work or filtration.
Do NOT keep it with other fish, as they will eventually become lunch.

I found out the hard way about his tank mates. When i got him he was beat up from being in a crowed tank with some aggressive fish but he got even later. He has the place to himself now and seems healthy and will like the larger tank i am working on. He is about 28 inches long. I would like to make a cave he wouldn't destroy if you have any ideas. I may just give him a length of pvc and see how that goes.
