Hi Everyone,

Just thought i'd stop in and say hello. I recently joined MonsterFish as I regularly go to AquariaCentral and saw the sponsor sign!

I haven't been keeping fish for too long, used to keep axolotls but decided to move over to tropical fish. The only one I've had for some time is Simon, the showpong siamese fighter, which of course is a betta.

I recently set up a 3' tank with live plants and am currently going through the cycling process though I am using 6 barbs (2 tiger, 2 green & 2 which look like the tigers but are orange and white striped and I'm not sure what they are) and so far with regular tank checks and water changes all is going well.

I hope to be keeping in touch with everyone here regularly as I'm sure I'm bound to have heaps of questions and can benefit from everyone's experience...

Congratulations for finally taking the dive into the world of tropical fish. I've been keeping fish since I was 4 and have never gotten tired of it. I just hope my children share my same enthusiam towards fish and and animals.
