hello i have a empty 6x2x2 i am trying to buy 3 endlis but cant find them or any poly in australia are they legal?, does anyone know how to find them. and what would good tank mates be. can someone please give me the poly basics. thank you

hey mate, there a few places in Sydney you can get them...however availability is really dependant on what the market is like.
You can get Endlicheri's from Newtown Pet and Aquariums - they are approx $800 a pop though... if you hunt around you might be able to find some juveniles for around the $300 mark... There are also other places like Marrickville Aquarium that occassionally has them, I know they had some Senegals at one stage. Fish Rock in Willougby had some recently too. I think Hurstville Aquarium had some too.
I know a few more places too but don't really like to give them business as they are not the nicest of people. But that should be enough to get you started.
Just beware you will have to dish out quite alot of money for these fish, its not like the States or Asia where these fish are cheap... These are exotic and pricey animals in Australia. Price range $180 - $900.

Endli's here in the Philipines are pretty cheap...
4-6" raise up to 700pesos and about 14dollars if I convert it...
