newcomer: 20gal suggestions

freshwater
tropical: 72-78 degrees
java fern, anubias, crypto
low light

what should i stock this bad boy with?
I was thinking of rummy nose for the schooling
or three angel fish because they look nice

right now, a few of my ghost shrimp are pregnant, besides that, my tank is pretty empty.

3 angels are going to outgrow that tank pretty fast.
are looking to do more schooling-type fish or something a little more cichlid-like?

Rams. A pair of rams or some other dwarf cichlid would look nice in that setting.

i first started with a 20gallon....with tetra and got bored very very quicky like the same day i got them i thought ugh....boring stupid little fish lol

so make sure you really want them! i knew i had a passion for cichlids u can get some cool lil cichlids like cockatoo dwarf cichlid

but i do like the look of discus and neon tetra.

yes well everyone will upgrade after a month right?

i said i disliked small fish then contradicted it by saying i like discus/neon tetra combo.
i don't suggest you get discus i was just telling you i like them haha

cockatoo dwarf cichlid is fine in a 20G.

gourami are pretty ...not my thing..have kept them....pretty boring. lol sorry i'm not the best person to talk to about small fish so i'll stay away! haha

Depends what kind you're thinking of. Dwarf, yeah, kissing/pink gouramis, no.
