This guy tried to eat a 3.5 inch jardini within five minutes of being thrown in the tank, had him in his mouth and I had to rescue him. THe jardini has been moved and seems to be fine schooling with a bunch of red hooks and some barbs. He has eaten a few platties as well.

Unfortunately this guy came solo... I have all the fish I want to put in my 180 now minus a black Ray.. Since that doesn't look like it will be happening any time soon I can rest my wallet.

Hopefully soon he will become one... I was so shocked he would go after a fish half his size within minutes of coming out of the bag.. Wes wasn't lying when he said his were eating right out of the bag.....

BTW, the piece of simulated driftwood in your aquarium looks like an ent, i.e., one of those walking trees from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

If I had a tank set up like yours I don't know that anything could make me jealous. If I can achieve a comm tank like that one day I will feel like a master fish keeper..

I am going to try.. Dat/Gar/Perch/CObra Pike/Motoro/Endli combo with red hooks and lemon barbs as dithers.. and if this tiny jardini makes it thru the struggle perhaps him as well..
