Newest additions!

I picked up these two guys at my favorite local fish store. The bichir was labeled as an Ornate but I know its not that. Im thinking delhezi. The knife was labeled as a trumpet knife. Ive heard they are also called Ossa Knifes. The knife seems to be molting as you can see around his head. Should I be worried? The bichir is about 3" and the knife about 12".

What are fair prices for these fish? Also if anyone has a positive ID please chime in!!!

Ive had a few polys now and I know they jump. Ive actually had two jump on me including my 10" ornate. They both were pretty dried when I found them. I threw them in the tank anyway and they both made it!! Damn hardy fish!

I cant seem to find any info on this knife!

That's a delhezi not an ornate. Nice stripes on it. A fair for that size is around $20.

My B. Juruense looks like he decided to taste some knife.

The damage is like this on the other side of the fish as well. It doesnt look life threatening, but now Im going to have to keep a close eye out for furthur issues.
