I'm posting the pic as requested by Serg. This guy was sold as an ansorgii. This was another impulse purchase by me. I was on my way to pick up my food order but came home with food and fish.:D Sorry for being so late on the pic.

Nice. Have you ever had a problem with them attacking your loach? For some reason mine had it out for my loaches, which were no where near small enough to fit in their mouth at the time. Anyways awesome pickup.... congats.

Thanks guys. I never had any bichirs attempting to eat a loach. On the other hand, I had endlis eating smaller endlis.:irked: I lost like 5 endlis this year from this incident. It was not totally my fault. The fish would do fine for months then a few days of starvation will make my congicus eat his own family like Mike Tyson.:nilly:

How big? Nice pick up BTW!

The more they start captive breeding of ansorgii the more we may not know that it's an ansorgii especially to people that are new to bichirs. The patterns are now starting to change, just like the endli and the del we now get "royal" ansorgii.

Nice pickup! Now where are the shots of that albino angel?

I was tempted by these baby ansorgii when I was there, but I'm focusing on the other project.

Albino angel is in heaven. I'm not sure who ate him. Remember from the other thread.:( You might as well pick up an ansorgii since you love growing out fish.

El, the ansorgii is about 3" right not. It's currently eatting pellets so it should grow fast.

nice ansorgii xD mines kinda oddball
