So far he has not gone crazy, but he is getting around the 11" mark - very fat and happy with a earthworm and goldfish staple. Hoping that the marbled knife in with him that I now have eating Massivore's will get my bow to look at this as a food source...

I have plans on moving him into the 125 I am just setting up, more pictures to come for sure.
 
Bowfins are sweet...hopefully during collecting this spring we will time it right and hit their spawn.

We missed it last year because water temps got high so fast up here in wisconsin.

Thanks all for the good words!

This has to be the most finicky predator I have kept...It only eats live, and paces. He has just recently come to the glass to 'greet' me! I know the current tank mates are on the clock for a meal, so I will be rehoming him in a little while... I am building the new stand now. 4, technically 5, stand build with the center piece being a 125. Untill I find a screaming deal on a 180!
