Have another 2500 gallon pond up and running.

This pond will contain no large predators such as catfish and peacock bass and such.. My goal for this pond is starting a breeding ground for cichlids. I want to be able to look in the pond a year from now and see fish in their which I didnt stock. Kind of like having my own little part of cichlid nature..

The aquascaping is no where near done yet. I will be putting in about 3 times more rock than what is in there now as well as some pvc piping and clay pots.

Have several F0 and F1 amphilophus in there now that I got from a member of WW. Several Labiatus and Citrinellus and Hogabomorus. A few Salvini and some Nic and Hon Cons.. As well as some F0 Loiselli.

The pond is 12 foot in diameter and 3 feet tall.. The larger fish you see in there are about 12" in length but they look like babies in the huge pond..

As always any suggestions or advice is always appreciated :)

Now on to the Pics :

Many of the fish put in there were already breeding pairs when I got them so Im hoping they stay paired with each other. I know my other 1100 gallon pond has cichlids breeding like crazy so Im hoping this will happen as well in the 2500.. Only difference is way too many predators in my 1100 gallon for anything to live..

very nice... lacks filtration, but it looks very nice ;)

Thanks

Filtration is temporary for the time being. The stock is very light right now. I will be adding another bigger filter with more gph.. :)

that's great... keep us posted wen you do... ;)

Take pictures when you take a dip in it too.
