KelTec Sub 2000!
Scored one in the Glock 9mm flavor at the gun show this weekend. Came with two 33rd Glock factory mags and two 10rd Glock mags.
Ive been wanting one for awhile now. I wanted something plastic, cheap, compact and reliable to keep in my car. This little carbine is all that and a bag of chips!
For those of you that may not know, the Sub 2000 is a polymer carbine that completely folds in half. Once folded the over all dimensions are roughly 16"x7" and can easily fit in a laptop bag, breifcase or back pack.
I took her to the range last night. I knew they were more then accurate enough but man I was impressed. I figured this would be a close in type weapon so I sent the target down range 25ft. I emptied 33rds at about 1-2sec interval between shots and no joke, all but a few fliers (for sure my fault) were in one hole not much bigger then a quarter! I loaded up the other mag and sent the target down 75ft (a far as the range could go). Unfortunately since I already shot out the red bulls eye I had to shoot at a n "X" I made with masking tape and it was very hard to see. I still managed a nice fist sized group.
No failures in the 66rds I put through her. Overall I am VERY impressed and with the good numbers 9mm puts out with the 16" barrel, I believe this is a very capable and practical little carbine
And a pic to show how compact it is to an underfolder AK.
