hey fellow mfk'ers. so today i was looking through some fish supplies and found a bucket full of smaller lake superior pebbles. it was enough to put a nice layer over my black sand in my 110. i have been thinking about having a sand/rock mix for a bit just due to the look and me having the black sand for a while. i just wanted to look at something new so decided to kinda redo my tank layout. Aside from the new substrate, i wanted to start growing some easy plants (im not looking to have some exclusive planted tank with co2 and the full nine yards). Plants i added are dwarf hairgrass, java fern, and el nino fern. all was split up and tied onto my driftwood with braided fishing line until it attaches to my driftwood. i like the look of plants growing off the wood so heres my go at it. well heres a quick picture of my tank. as for fish in it i have my oscar 9", common plec 8", royal plec 8", green phantom plec 4", bristlenose plec 3", eclipse cat 8", 3.5" JD, 3 tiger barbs, 6" featherfin cat, 6" goldfish that wasnt lunch that one day and is oscars buddy now, and a gold gourami (the gourami, goldfish, barbs, and common pleco are leaving soon and going to be given to my gf along with this 110 so i can add fish to my 240 sitting vacant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and i am running an fx5 for filteration

anyways let me know what you think it wasnt suppost to be a panty dropper...just a quick decision on my part to make walking im my room a bit newer!

and the rock was all placed on top of sand for now and over time with water changes it will slowly mix.
