Can you help me sex my new gold saum, he/she is about 3" now, i only have him/her for a week and i am confused wether it is a he or a she, its fins are nipped by my notorious tiger barbs struggling to have a good shot at it but i hope it will help for your reference...just done with water change when i took the pics.. Tyi

A bit small to sex, I would give it 6 months more minimum. I've seen both males and females that size look like that. The sex wasn't more apparent until they were larger.

That makes sense, maybe its too early to determine... Its still pretty shy and anxious, sometimes get chased by my cons and tangerine cichlids...
