No pictures yet- he's still way too shy to come out and say 'HI!' to anyone...This guy's had a rough life that I'm looking to change all that!
Went into one of my favorite LFS's in Seattle, 'The Fish Store' in their newly relocated store, by Dick's drive in. I was looking to pick up some more live rock for my new 15G salt tank, and I came across a 8-9" BGK for $9.99... $9.99 and this big of BGK made no sense, so I inquired as to why the low price. I was informed of the missing second white stripe on the tail... Apparently it was in a too agro tank and had it's tail bitten off. OK... I'm fine with that!
So I plucked him along with 1.5 lbs of live rock and a blue damsel! I have him/her in with 9 silver dollars in a 125g that I have reserved as my 'peaceful' tank. I've seen it up against the plumbing for the tank- hiding of coarse. Will wait a few before trying to feed anything substantial. I was thinking tilapia pieces unless they can be pellet trained-none of my others I've kept ever touched any kind of pellet though.
Pics will follow!
