Looks good, fill under the bioballs with ceramic. What are you running with this filter?

I am running a 180. I just posted pics of it in the pictures forum but they are from when I first did it. I could try the ceramic rings down the road.

dude, i think you need more space for bio balls, i mean you need more bio balls and more space for bio balls. just my opinion

I have 5 gallons of bio balls. Do you think I really need more?

No you've got more then enough bio balls for a 180g tank. Especially if you plan on adding some submerged media under them. Nice job BTW.

I like how you still have so much extra space in such a simple design. If you ever boosted your stock really heavy, you could just tweak the design and add a bunch more media. I doubt it'll be needed but it gives you plenty of options.
