I've been thinking of taking a trip down to newport ky aquarium this weekend.

I've been there twice, the last time being 12-14 months ago

Is there anything new / exciting worth going for, or should I check out toledo or pittsburgh or something else within driving distance??

I should add that I really care most about the amazon / big fish exibits ... And sw is nice but not needed.

The first time I went I didn't pay any attention to it, and last time the amazon was a bit of a letdown

I don't think they've gotten anything new since 12-14 months ago, except the new(ish) frog exhibit. The last time I was there was about 5-7 months ago, so I guess they could have gotten something new since then.

Yeah, the last time I went, the amazon tank wasn't very interesting, basically all they had was pacu.

Yeah the pacu were the best. And that's sad lol ... They had some smaller sa cats in a different area they my have been growing out.

Last time I was there the frogs were there. I didn't look though lol. Too many kids.

I just checked a thread on the pittsburgh and I'm leaning that way ... Give me lots of feedback everyone :)

They've had the shark petting tank since my first visit 2-3 years ago...
Possible change in plans. My gf is saying pitt is a real long drivw

Yeah I know, but looks like they changed the stock from looking at the website. I think they used to have bonnet sharks or something in the touch pool, now they have port jacksons, lesser sandsharks, and catsharks.

... I forgot posting on friday nights is almost pointless, lol

Thanks though dr ... I guess everyones watching the olympics LMAO

(Or they just have a life hahaha)
